Keto Hash Browns

Keto Hash browns are an essential part of the classic American breakfast.

This recipe is full of fiber, healthy fat, and even protein from pasture-raised eggs.

These hash browns are not only a suitable replacement, but actually better than those made with potatoes!

So without further ado, here is the keto cauliflower hash browns recipe:

Ingredients

2 cups organic cauliflower, grated
3 organic/pasture-raised eggs
½ organic yellow onion, grated
2 cloves organic garlic, grated
2 sprigs fresh organic thyme, de-stemmed and minced
1 teaspoon sea salt
Organic black pepper, to taste
½ cup organic grass-fed butter
2 organic tablespoons grass-fed butter

 

Instructions

  1. Use a grater or food processor to grate cauliflower, onion, and garlic, and thyme.
  2. Combine the grated vegetables in a large bowl.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients (except 2 tablespoons of butter) in to the bowl and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  5. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture from the bowl and place in the hot skillet.
  6. Flatten the mixture to about 3 inches diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Fry the hash brown on medium-low heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached. (Do not flip your hash brown too early. They are fragile until the first side is fully cooked!)
  8. Set cooked hash browns aside on a large plate until you have cooked through the entire batch.
  9. Serve with your favorite breakfast foods like bacon, eggs, greens, or sausage!
